Minister of State for the Cabinet Office, the Rt Hon Nigel Adams MP was guest of honour and guest speaker at the Annual Dinner of the East Yorkshire Constituency Conservative Association recently. The event was held at Driffield Golf Club.
Mr Adams spoke about the current political situation and afterwards answered questions.
During his speech, the Minister condemned the actions of President Putin in Ukraine and said that Britain was providing much logistical support, including defence equipment to assist the Ukrainians.
Local MP Sir Greg Knight acted as MC for the event and a vote of thanks was proposed by leader of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council, Councillor Jonathan Owen.
