At the latest Full Council meeting of East Riding of Yorkshire Council, in response to the Truss Government's lift on the national fracking ban, Conservative councillors voted to reject fracking in the East Riding - 'we do not want it'!
The main reason for this is to protect our unground water supply, which would be at risk from the harmful affects of fracking.
The Government has said it would only support fracking in areas that want it, that is not East Yorkshire as far as we are concerned.
